Leadership

WASHNETRWANDA, applies rigorous practices that reflect the best practices of good governance, in compliance with principles of accountability, integrity, equity, and transparency. We call on trustworthy and competent institutions and individuals to support and guide our decision-making processes. Above all, WASHNETRWANDA believes in accountable governance with respect to our stakeholders/partners who take part in our projects which help attain our goal of Water and Sanitation for all always.

Members: Created in 2015, WASHNET-RWANDA is a forum of Rwanda local NGOs that intervene in the sectors of water supply, hygiene, sanitation, and environment protection. The idea to create this forum resulted from consultations from different local organizations that intervene in the aforementioned sectors which later became the founding members of the Forum. The network was created with a status of a Rwanda Non-Governmental Organization with a possibility to accept membership of international organizations that operate in Rwanda in the sectors of WASH and environment protection. As of present, the Network comprises 09 member organizations. These are the organizations that signed the Constitution that govern the Network/forum. However, new membership will be accepted upon application and assessment. processes. Mission

To promote the effective engagement of Rwanda civil society organizations (CSOs) in the formulation and implementation of policies, programs and strategies for WASH, based on sustainability and good governance.

 Objectives
